Vi trengte en liten bukse som matchet bodyen i det deilige bomulls- og merinoullgarnet. På denne valgte jeg å la mønsteret gå hele veien rundt. Buksen er like myk og behagelig som bodyen, og praktisk med strikk i livet – det gjør den fleksibel og enkel å ta på, helt uten behov for knyting.
Buksen strikkes ovenfra og ned. Det strikkes vendepinner på bakstykket for å gjøre den litt ekstra romslig bak, før arbeidet deles i to og bena strikkes ferdig hver for seg.

We needed a pair of little pants to match the bodysuit, using the same lovely cotton and merino wool yarn. For these pants, I chose to carry the pattern all the way around. The pants are just as soft and comfortable as the bodysuit, and the elasticated waist makes them flexible and easy to put on, with no need for ties.
The pants are worked from the top down. Short rows are worked across the back to give the pants a little extra room at the back, before the work is divided and the legs are completed separately.

Needles: 2,5mm/US1,5 and 3mm/US2,5 or the size needed to obtain the correct gauge. 40 cm circular needle for the pants, 80 cm circular needle for the legs, or double-pointed needles if you do not use the magic loop method.
